Jesse and Erica were such  a fun couple to work with. From the very beginning, Jesse wanted to make sure his Bride – to –  be had a day that she would remember for a lifetime.  I congratulate you Jesse for surprising your bride and having her swept away in a horse and carriage. Nice touch! What an awesome fairytale ending to a beautiful wedding day!

To the new Mr. and Mrs. Brownlee, I wish you many years of happiness. Thank you for entrusting me to capture your special day and I hope that you enjoy this preview!  Love and Blessings!

Jeff and Laura | South Bend Wedding

“When you find the one that makes you smile, keep them close, and don’t take them for granted. People like that are hard to find.” ~ Author Unknown

Laura truly found the one person that keeps her smiling. Over the course of a year I really enjoyed getting to know and working with the couple and their families, and helping to plan their big day. I can honestly say that I saw Laura in her happiest moments on her wedding day while marrying her best friend.

To Laura and Jeff, congrats to you both and I wish you many years of happiness. Thank you for entrusting me to capture your wedding day. Love and Blessings!

Notre Dame Wedding | Lamar & Linda

Notre Dame Wedding | Lamar & Linda | 6.9.18

It’s a beautiful love story about two Notre Dame law students who met during college, fell in love, and returned back to campus for their Notre Dame Wedding. The couple held their wedding ceremony at the Olivet AME church on Notre Dame Avenue. The reception was held at the beautiful Gillespie Conference Center in South Bend. Being Notre Dame Alumni, the couple was granted access to the new Law Library and reading room for their Notre Dame Wedding photos. The entire wedding day was perfectly planned and the couple, families, and wedding party was a joy to work with! Thank you Lamar and Linda for entrusting me to capture your Notre Dame wedding photos! I hope you enjoy this preview of your wedding day. Much love and blessings to you both. xoxo

Notre Dame Wedding | Mehdi and Shahrzad | 12.19.17

Mehdi and  Shahrzad, both grad students, posed for their formal wedding photos on the campus of Notre Dame. It was a chilly day in December but they both did a great job braving the cold temps for the sake of gorgeous photos.

Being that they are both grad students at Notre Dame, we wanted to capture the most iconic locations on campus like the Grotto, the Basilica, and the lake. Congrats to such a super sweet couple. I wish you both the best! xoxo

The Homestead 1835 Wedding | Brian & Kim

Wedding Venue: The Homestead 1835 | New Carlisle, IN.

I absolutely loved working with Brian and Kim during their engagement session and on their wedding day. The Homestead 1835 in New Carlisle Indiana was the perfect backdrop to their vintage inspired wedding. The day started with hair and make-up at the Beehive Salon  in South Bend. From there, we traveled to the venue to get ready before walking down the aisle. Brian and Kim opted to do what I call a “first look no look” photo, which was a super sweet moment for the couple before the ceremony.

Photographing the reception/ dining area at the Homestead 1835 was one of my favorite times during the day. The bride, Kim, handmade all of the vintage inspired centerpieces which turned out absolutely gorgeous. I have told her several times that she needs to take up a career in wedding design. I truly hope she considers.

To Brian and Kim, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day. It was so much fun working with you and your family during your wedding day. I wish you all of the happiness and love you both can handle and congrats on purchasing your first home together! Love and Blessings!

Notre Dame Basilica Wedding | Jacqueline and Joseph

I seriously love all of my couples but Jacqueline and Joseph hold a special place in my heart. Jacqueline and Joseph (J&J), hired me to capture their wedding day despite the fact that this would be my first time shooting at the beautiful Basilica on the campus of Notre Dame. Shooting a Notre Dame Basilica wedding has been a career goal of mine since I started my wedding photography business. I am so thankful that J&J entrusted me and allowed me to reach this milestone in my career.

J&J’s wedding day could not have been more perfect. The whether was gorgeous and the wedding party was super fun to work with. If you are planning a Notre Dame Basilica wedding my advice would be to be on time! The Basilica books weddings back to back on Saturday’s starting at 8:00am and each family is rotated in and out of the church very systematically.

Overall shooting a Notre Dame Basilica wedding was a lot of fun and the staff at the Basilica were very friendly and helpful. After shooting a handful of family formals inside of the Basilica, the wedding party and I walked around campus to capture more fun and creative photos using the beautiful Notre Dame campus as the backdrop.

Thank you so much Jacqueline and Joseph for allowing me to capture your special day! I wish you all the best! Love and blessings to you!

Thank you Michael and Katherine for choosing me as your photographer. You guys are naturals in front of the camera and made my job super easy. The couple chose Potato Creek state park as the backdrop to their engagement session photos and this location did not disappoint. Early Fall scenery combined with a super cute couple is a recipe for greatness.  I look forward to shooting your wedding in May. Congrats to you both!

I am truly blessed to work with such great couples! Scott and Christine are no exception! The couple is orginally from the Mishawaka area and met in high school. Currently they live in Texas with their four adorable children. I was honored that they chose me to capture their special day. I was also extremely excited to have the opportunity to shoot for the first time at the beautiful Allure in Laporte Indiana. To see the outside of this venue, one would never guess the hidden jewel on the inside of this renovated church gymnasium. The venue and staff are amazing! If you are planning nuptuials in the area I highly recommend the Allure Laporte.

It was a great day for everyone. It was sweet to learn more about the couple and how they met throughout the day. It was also very cute to see Christine try so hard to hold back tears before and during the ceremony. Hey Christine, “cry down!” Thanks again to Scott and Christine for inviting me to document your day.  I hope you enjoy this preview of your wedding photos and I pray that you have a great time on your “familymoon”. Love and Blessings!

Morris Estate Wedding | John & Lynn

Ceremony Venue: Morris Estate Wedding Chapel

Brides Hair: Brandi Bates @ Salon 301
Brides Make-up: Kelsie Youts @ Salon 301
Mother of the bride and bridesmaids make-up: Kayse Funkhouser @ Salon 301
Florals: The Flower Market by Martin’s
Reception Venue:
Windsor Park Conference Center

And the adventure begins… Wow! John and Lynn are an amazing couple! I am truly blessed to work with genuinely terrific people!  I have been looking forward to John and Lynn’s wedding day for over a year. I really got to know the couple through the planning process and while shooting their adorable engagement session. I could tell early on that the bride, Lynn, was extremely nervous about her wedding day plans and wanted to ensure that every detail was thoughtfully curated.  I image that is how many brides feel when preparing for their big day which is completely understandable. In my experience as a wedding photographer, yes it is extremely helpful to be organized an prepared on the wedding, but the moment when the bride finally relaxes and starts enjoying her day is priceless. As you can tell by the photos, the guys didn’t have any problem relaxing and enjoying the day. Having a groom thrown into a pool at the start of the day was a first for me. Love it!

All of the planning paid off. John and Lynn, your day was absolutely perfect! I truly thank you for allowing me to capture and be apart of your special day. I look forward to spending time at your pool and tiki hut this summer!  Seriously, congrats and I wish you many years of happiness. Love and blessings!
