Wedding Venue: The Homestead 1835 | New Carlisle, IN.
I absolutely loved working with Brian and Kim during their engagement session and on their wedding day. The Homestead 1835 in New Carlisle Indiana was the perfect backdrop to their vintage inspired wedding. The day started with hair and make-up at the Beehive Salon in South Bend. From there, we traveled to the venue to get ready before walking down the aisle. Brian and Kim opted to do what I call a “first look no look” photo, which was a super sweet moment for the couple before the ceremony.
Photographing the reception/ dining area at the Homestead 1835 was one of my favorite times during the day. The bride, Kim, handmade all of the vintage inspired centerpieces which turned out absolutely gorgeous. I have told her several times that she needs to take up a career in wedding design. I truly hope she considers.
To Brian and Kim, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day. It was so much fun working with you and your family during your wedding day. I wish you all of the happiness and love you both can handle and congrats on purchasing your first home together! Love and Blessings!
Kim and Mike are super adorable. I loved how during their Notre Dame engagement session, they both progressivly became more comfortable in front of the camera. Mike is a Notre Dame graduate and Kim is a St. Mary’s grad. It was only fitting to have their engagement photos shot on Notre Dame’s beautiful campus. Congrats to you both and I can’t wait to photograph your Notre Dame Basilica wedding this summer.

I seriously love all of my couples but Jacqueline and Joseph hold a special place in my heart. Jacqueline and Joseph (J&J), hired me to capture their wedding day despite the fact that this would be my first time shooting at the beautiful Basilica on the campus of Notre Dame. Shooting a Notre Dame Basilica wedding has been a career goal of mine since I started my wedding photography business. I am so thankful that J&J entrusted me and allowed me to reach this milestone in my career.
J&J’s wedding day could not have been more perfect. The whether was gorgeous and the wedding party was super fun to work with. If you are planning a Notre Dame Basilica wedding my advice would be to be on time! The Basilica books weddings back to back on Saturday’s starting at 8:00am and each family is rotated in and out of the church very systematically.
Overall shooting a Notre Dame Basilica wedding was a lot of fun and the staff at the Basilica were very friendly and helpful. After shooting a handful of family formals inside of the Basilica, the wedding party and I walked around campus to capture more fun and creative photos using the beautiful Notre Dame campus as the backdrop.
Thank you so much Jacqueline and Joseph for allowing me to capture your special day! I wish you all the best! Love and blessings to you!
South Bend engagement photo session | Michael and Katherine
Location: Potato Creek State Park
Photographer: Monica Brazier Photography
Thank you Michael and Katherine for choosing me as your photographer. You guys are naturals in front of the camera and made my job super easy. The couple chose Potato Creek state park as the backdrop to their engagement session photos and this location did not disappoint. Early Fall scenery combined with a super cute couple is a recipe for greatness. I look forward to shooting your wedding in May. Congrats to you both!
I am truly blessed to work with such great couples! Scott and Christine are no exception! The couple is orginally from the Mishawaka area and met in high school. Currently they live in Texas with their four adorable children. I was honored that they chose me to capture their special day. I was also extremely excited to have the opportunity to shoot for the first time at the beautiful Allure in Laporte Indiana. To see the outside of this venue, one would never guess the hidden jewel on the inside of this renovated church gymnasium. The venue and staff are amazing! If you are planning nuptuials in the area I highly recommend the Allure Laporte.
It was a great day for everyone. It was sweet to learn more about the couple and how they met throughout the day. It was also very cute to see Christine try so hard to hold back tears before and during the ceremony. Hey Christine, “cry down!” Thanks again to Scott and Christine for inviting me to document your day. I hope you enjoy this preview of your wedding photos and I pray that you have a great time on your “familymoon”. Love and Blessings!

Felipe and Danielle are one of the cutest couples I have had the opportunity to photograph. It’s an easy task as a photographer to work with couples who are totally into each other. Their Tippecanoe wedding was beautiful and intimate. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house when they both read their vows to each other or when the groom announced during the ceremony that they were expecting. Felipe and Danielle, thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day. I hope you enjoy this preview of your wedding day photos. Blessings and love to you and your new family!
When your sister friend gets married it’s a truly different experience as a wedding photographer. I wanted the day to be perfect for her so I helped fill in the gaps…I was so happy for her so I had to hold back the tears to capture the best photos possible. Marchelle and Demond, Cory and I truly love you guys! Your wedding day was perfect! The venue and the staff at The Oakwood Resort were amazing. The scenery of Lake Wawasee as the backdrop for your ceremony was breathtaking! The white balloon release as a dedication to your parents was a perfect touch to add to the intimacy of the ceremony. I couldn’t be more happy for you both and how your special day turned out. Congrats, Love, and Blessings!
And the adventure begins… Wow! John and Lynn are an amazing couple! I am truly blessed to work with genuinely terrific people! I have been looking forward to John and Lynn’s wedding day for over a year. I really got to know the couple through the planning process and while shooting their adorable engagement session. I could tell early on that the bride, Lynn, was extremely nervous about her wedding day plans and wanted to ensure that every detail was thoughtfully curated. I image that is how many brides feel when preparing for their big day which is completely understandable. In my experience as a wedding photographer, yes it is extremely helpful to be organized an prepared on the wedding, but the moment when the bride finally relaxes and starts enjoying her day is priceless. As you can tell by the photos, the guys didn’t have any problem relaxing and enjoying the day. Having a groom thrown into a pool at the start of the day was a first for me. Love it!
All of the planning paid off. John and Lynn, your day was absolutely perfect! I truly thank you for allowing me to capture and be apart of your special day. I look forward to spending time at your pool and tiki hut this summer! Seriously, congrats and I wish you many years of happiness. Love and blessings!
