Thank you Michael and Katherine for choosing me as your photographer. You guys are naturals in front of the camera and made my job super easy. The couple chose Potato Creek state park as the backdrop to their engagement session photos and this location did not disappoint. Early Fall scenery combined with a super cute couple is a recipe for greatness.  I look forward to shooting your wedding in May. Congrats to you both!

Jenna and Clint, I am so happy we were able to capture all of the photos on your wish list and more! I hope you enjoy these preview photos of your wedding day. Winter Engagement Session

Indiana winters are brutally cold and snowy. Every winter I always tell myself, “Next year I’m moving to Florida!” Fortunately I am super blessed to work with amazing couples that can make a snowy winter engagement session smokin hot!

Joe and Erin are actually now Mr. and Mrs. Roe. They wed last year in August and I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful nuptuials which I will share in a later post. Erin really wanted snow for the outdoor portion of their winter engagement session and just enough is exactly what she got. Joe and Erin were naturals in front of the camera and their winter engagement session turned out really cute! Thank you Erin and Joe for allow me to share these memories with you.

Tippecanoe Place Wedding

A Tippecanoe Place wedding was the perfect location for Laura and Niall’s charming and classic wedding. South Bend is home for the bride, Laura, so the couple decided to travel back here from Ireland, the groom’s home, for their nuptials. The couple and their families were super sweet and laid back through out the entire day. I think the sweetest part of the day was visiting Laura’s Grandparents after the ceremony at the nursing home. Congrats again to Laura and Niall. Thank you for making my last wedding of 2015 a great one!

The Homestead 1835 | South Bend Wedding Photography

Venue: The Homestead 1835

Hair: Kalon Hair Lab (Kimmie Seely)

Makeup: Makeup by Keria

Flourist: Always n Bloom

The Homestead 1835 provided the perfect backdrop for Xavier and Haley’s South Bend wedding photography. This modern rustic barn wedding was full of details from the beautiful decor to the sweet treats of the S’more’s bar.

Exavier and Haley opted not to see each other before the wedding and chose to take what I call “first look no look photos. I love the look Xavier had on his face when he finally got a chance to see Haley for the first time. After the ceremony, when it was time for formal photos, the couple was so easy to pose because they had a genuine connection and love for one another. The wedding day ended with beautiful sunset photos and a campfire including roasted marshmallows.

Exavier and Haley, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day. Your planning and details made your wedding day a photographers dream. I wish you both all of the best. Love and blessings to you both!

Notre Dame Wedding | Rocio and David

Ceremony Site : Our Lady of Fatima Chapel

Reception Site: Riverside Terrace

Photos By: Monica Brazier Photography

David and Rocio are hands down one of the sweetest couples I have ever worked with. I think I say that about all of my couples but there is something about these two that take the cake. Their wedding added a lot of firsts for me that I was excited about photographing. Upon meeting David and Rocio, they informed me that they were expecting and by the time the wedding rolls around they would be about 6 months pregnant. At that point I had never photographed an expecting bride so I was excited to jump right in. The groom had also planned on being dressed in his military whites for the ceremony which was another aspect of their wedding day that I was excited to photograph. David (the groom) is such a funny character and Rocio (the bride)  is his perfect better half, always being the calm and rational one. Their personalities together make them fun and great to work with.

On the wedding day I got a chance to meet the rest of David and Rocio’s friends and family. Rocco, you and your sisters are all gorgeous and share such a special bond. Even though I was hired to be with you to document these moments with my camera, I felt honored to be in the getting ready room with you, your mom, and your sisters. These moments were the most impactful for me because I could truly feel the love and happiness that everyone in the room felt for you. Thank you.

After the wedding ceremony the couple opted to have the rest of their Notre Dame wedding photos taken at St. Mary’s college and at the grotto on the campus of Notre Dame before we headed to the reception site. Thank you so much again David and Rocio for allowing me to be apart of your special day. Weddings are a once in a lifetime event and I do not take my responsibility lightly. God Bless you both and congrats again on your marriage and to the new bundle of joy you will be welcoming into your lives in August! Love and Blessing!

St. Hedwig South Bend Wedding

Ceremony: Grace United Methodist Church

Reception Venue: St. Hedwig South Bend

After Ceremony Photos: Doubletree Hotel South Bend

I absolutely have a blast photographing weddings and I feel so honored when couples allow me to share one of the most important days of their lives with them. Sara and Ricky wed on April 25th 2015 at the beautiful Grace United Methodist Church in South Bend. I love how Sara and Ricky incorporated the groom’s hispanic culture by adding the “coin” and “cord” traditions into the ceremony. These items symbolize  prosperity and togetherness for the new couple.

The couple and I met and started planning for their wedding day one year in advance. This allowed us to truly plan together and map out the exact plans for their wedding day. I truly believe that proper planning is the key ingredient for a successful and organized wedding day not to mention that organization relieves wedding day stress. Sara and Ricky’s wedding day went like clock work and turned out to be a beautiful day. We didn’t allow the rainy weather to stop us from creating really cute photographs in between the ceremony and reception. We even stopped for a quick photo op in front of the South Bend Cubs stadium to incorporate the Groom’s love for baseball.

The couples reception took place at the historic St. Hedwig South Bend. The decor was beautiful and the floor to ceiling up-lighting at the venue created a perfect backdrop for beautiful reception photos. If you are considering St. Hedwig South Bend  for your wedding reception, all I can say is op for the “pie package!” It will not disappoint!

Love and Blessings!

South Bend wedding photographer | Tyler & Brittney

South Bend wedding photographer | Tyler & Brittney

Last weekend I had the honor of photographing Tyler and Brittney’s South Bend wedding and I have to say, it was one of the most sweetest ceremonies I have been apart of. The day started with hair and make-up for the ladies in the brides hotel room and groom prep in a separate suite for the fellas. The bride and groom opted to see each other before the wedding ceremony to take care of the family formal portraits that usually happen after the I do’s. I set up their “first look” photos inside of the churches sanctuary which created a private setting for the couple to have a few moments together before their ceremony.

After family formals the bride was tucked away to hide from her guests as they were entering the church. As the ceremony started, the look on Tyler’s face as Brittney walked down the aisle was just as if he was seeing her for the first time all over again. The emotion inside of the church was so high even I started to tear up behind my camera has Brittney and Tyler read their vows to one another. After the wedding ceremony the couple took a few photos in front of the “golden dome” on the campus of Notre Dame. The fall colors of the trees on Notre Dame’s campus were so pretty and tied in perfectly with the couples Fall wedding theme.

Brittney and Tyler you guys are a super sweet couple and it was a joy photographing your wedding day. I hope you and your family enjoy this preview of your wedding day photos and be sure to scroll to the very end of this post for a special preview slideshow. Enjoy! Blessings and Love!

South Bend Photographer | Yost Wedding

It was such a pleasure and an honor to photograph Emily and Kurt  on their wedding day. This was the first time that I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in the breathtakingly beautiful and historic St. Patrick / St. Hedwig Parish and I absolutely loved it! The day started with hair and make-up with the bride, brides mom, and bridesmaids and continued on to the ceremony and reception. Emily and Kurt knew from the beginning of their wedding planning that they wanted to spend a good portion of the day taking creative photos. They had a lot of great ideas and thoughtfully planned out the locations they wanted to shoot at. I loved that Emily and Kurt were able to have their names placed on the marquee of the State theater downtown and that they opted to stop by Tippecanoe place with their classic transportation for the day. Thank you again Emily and Kurt for allowing me to be apart of your wedding day. Here is just a preview of some of the beautiful images that were captured. Blessings and Love!
